Spam Virus Protection |
| Codero’s Business Mail is specifically designed to help minimize spam. All outgoing content is automatically monitored; if any spam is detected, that account goes under review. Virus filtering is also provided for all mailboxes. Regularly updated virus definitions provide you with the most up–to–date security.
Every business has different messaging needs, your spam and virus filters are fully customizable. You have complete control over your spam settings and can choose a more aggressive or minimal filter. Group administration accounts can white list or blacklist individual e–mail addresses or entire domains. We also provide optional Verification Response to make sure any unknown sender is a real person. |

Data Protection |
Codero knows how critical your data is to the success of your business. Business Mail offers additional security measures to protect your data:
- IMAP, POP3, SMTP and Webmail all support secure sending and receiving.
- Support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) lets you connect and deliver mail securely between Codero and your TLS server(s).
- SMTP Authentication or POP–before–SMTP is required to access the sending server.
- All accounts are password protected.

Redundancy |
Business Mail has total redundancy built into all services helping ensure that no single point of failure causes downtime:
- Redundancy in load balancers. Two load balancers, each with ample capacity to handle all traffic, even during the busiest times.
- Redundancy in data. In the event that your main server experiences an unlikely hardware failure, Business Mail will automatically switch to a synced secondary copy to avoid the possibility of downtime.
- Redundancy in connectivity. Business Mail utilizes five IP transit providers, giving you constant, around–the–clock, high–speed access.
