How do I upload templates to the cloud?

Codero now offers customers the ability to take a backup of their current cloud or VPS template with other providers and migrate it over seamlessly.

Uploading an existing template to the Codero Cloud

Note:
Please note that Codero only supports the upload of .vhd images for now.

  1. Login to Server Portal and launch the Codero Cloud portal

  1. Click on the Templates tab.

  2. Click on Add a Template

  3. Enter the Name you wish to have for the Template.

  4. Enter the Display text for the Template.

  5. Enter the URL where the template is hosted (Currently Codero cloud only supports .vhd images).

  6. Select the OS Type of the template

  7. Select whether or not the password is enabled, which will allow for Codero Cloud to set a password for you.

  8. Select if you would like to have this template made public.

  9. Click Create

Once the template has successfully loaded you can now click Create VM to create an instance using the newly uploaded template.
