In order to create a new instance, you must log into your control panel at serverportal.com, and click on the “cloud” option under the services. If you have not done so, please make sure to agree to the Cloud TOS before proceeding.

Creating a new Instance via Cloud Portal

1. In the top menu, click on instances to view your current list of virtual machines.

2. At the top of the instances page, click on “Create a new VM.” This will open a pop-up allowing you to select the template and zone of the server

3. Select the availability zone (the location of your VM)

4. Select the image you would like to use. Codero recommends Centos. Once you are done, click on “Go to Step 2”

5. Select the type of service offering you would like depending on the pricing and click on “Go to Step 3”

6. Select any additional options you would like and “Go to Step 4”

7. When you have confirmed all choices, click “Submit”

Your new instance will now be created and you will see a pop-up with you new root password.

IMPORTANT: Please be sure to record your root password and change it as soon as you first log into your instance. You can only view the temporary password once.

Your new cloud is ready!
