How to change your server's hostname in Plesk


Plesk 9.5

 

  1. Log into your Plesk control panel.
  2. Click on Settings on the right hand side.
  3. Click on Change Hostname, under General.
  4. Where it says "Full hostname" is where you would want to put your servers new hostname, typically it is set up as something like server.domain.com or mail.domain.com and is normally always the same as what is set up as the primary reverse DNS.
  5. Once you have set it click OK.

  3. Click on Server Settings, under General.
