SAS 70 Type I Certified
Developed by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), SAS 70 (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70) serves to assess a service organization’s internal controls and operations which impact the control environment of their customers. Immediately after the company launch in August of 2009 Codero requested such a review by an independent reviewer in order to attain certification. Following a detailed assessment of internal controls the first review was completed for Type I Certification in February, 2010. In continued commitment a second review to receive SAS 70 Type II certification is scheduled for completion in Q3 of 2010.
