Jonathan Ewert joins Codero as President and CEO to lead the company's future growth.

Lenexa, Kan. — December 7, 2010 — Technology industry veteran Jonathan Ewert has been named President and CEO of Codero, a leading provider of optimized hosting infrastructure. He will also serve on the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Ewert was formerly SVP Corporate Development for LookSmart (NASDAQ: LOOK) and CEO of ePALS.

Since its launch last year, Codero has been recognized with multiple industry awards in the dedicated and managed hosting industry. In addition to being a pioneer in "green hosting", Codero has achieved a number of business milestones, including SAS Type II certification, PCI compliance, and Microsoft Gold Certification.

"Codero is attracting more customers in the e-commerce, SaaS, web development, advertising and media sectors - all areas in which Jonathan has a strong track record," said Tyler Newton, partner with growth private equity firm Catalyst Investors, Codero's principal investor. "His background makes him the perfect fit to lead Codero as the company grows."

"Codero is a market leader and I'm excited to join a company that is ideally positioned to expand," said Mr. Ewert. "In this fast-moving space, we see many enterprise customers who are paying for colocation and don't need to be. We also see a natural progression toward margin compression in cloud computing.  There is enormous opportunity for Codero to provide cost-effective hybrid infrastructure solutions with no capital investment or additional staffing, so that our customers can allocate capital and management to the growth of their core businesses."
