  • Location: Sheraton Boston Hotel (adjoining the convention center) - The Gardner Room
  • Description: Codero, along with several other hosting providers have joined together to host a private, Executive-only cocktail party the evening before HostingCon 2012. This is an opportunity for attendees to discuss the founding of a hosting industry association: the Internet Infrastructure Coalition, a.k.a. the i2Coalition.

i2Coalition is gearing up to be the Association for the Web Hosting industry. In the past, a few big names have claimed to speak for "The Internet industry" on Capitol Hill. But SOPA and PIPA made it clear that the interests of some of these giants do not always coincide with a hosting industry primarily made up of small to medium-sized businesses. So, how effective can a small voice be when so much power and money flows through Washington? Come hear our answer, and why you will want to explore founding membership in the i2Coalition.
