I really relish Thanksgiving, not just for the wonderful company and food, but for the time of reflection and gratitude it brings. A time to review the multitudes of blessings we’ve received. For me, many of those blessings are Codero’s customers and employees.
When life is going a mile a minute, it’s so easy to get stressed out, to hunker down and forget to look up once in a while to be thankful for what we have. But when we approach life with gratitude, things start to shift. Situations that seemed impossible begin to open, sometimes just a little at first. We begin to notice everything from small kindnesses to big achievements.
Throughout this year at Codero, we’ve had many reasons to be grateful. We have the great honor of helping 4000+ tech-savvy, and tech-dependent customers who depend on us every day to ensure that their online presences are up and reliable. We have an amazing group of employees who share the best of themselves every day in the service of our customers. We also have an array of solid and reliable hosting products and services that are second to none in reliability, and performance in the industry.
2014 has been a pivotal year for us. We promoted Eli Bowman as our new CFO, received $8 million in financing from Silicon Valley Bank, opened a new data center in Dallas/Fort Worth and released our Codero Elastic Block Storage, Cloud API and Codelets, new Proactive Managed Service, and continued to be the leader of the On-Demand Hybrid Cloud wave.
But I want to take a moment to emphasize this: None of it would be possible without you, our customers, your trust in us and your continuous honest feedback.
I want to personally thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience in our quarterly surveys we send you, as well through our meetups. I will commit to you that we will expand our in-person meetings with customers to more cities in 2015, so that we can hear your needs and concerns firsthand. I also commit to you that we will ensure we live up to our values of excellent customer service.
I would also like to thank my Codero team. Together, we’ve created something really special and different. Every year, you help us release valuable products, expand our technology and, most importantly, support an ever-growing number of customers live out their dreams and achieve their full potential in the market. From simple and complex e-commerce web sites, to large SaaS platforms, to enterprise back office applications, the commitment of Team Codero to customer success is the same.
Last but not least, I would like to thank the families of our employees for always being there for us. Their support is invaluable, and we’re humbled by their sacrifice and understanding of letting us borrow their parents, significant others, and children to give their best to Codero and our customers every day.
This Thanksgiving, I wish you time with those who mean the most to you. I wish you peace of mind and the happiness that comes from doing the things you love. Most of all, I wish you gratitude.
All of us at Codero want to wish you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. We look forward to working with you in 2015!
