This has been a very fun week at Codero, filled with delicious foods and amazing costumes! With Halloween just one day away, we wanted to cap our week off with a bang -- and I think I can safely say, "Mission accomplished!" (In case you missed out the festivities from earlier in the week, you can take a look back here.) We have a second wave of awesome costumes! First off is Cindy Wisner. She may be forever smiling on our home page, but there's… Read More

It may be the end-of-the-month sales push at the Codero offices, but that doesn't mean there isn't time for a little fun! With Halloween this week, our offices in Austin and Kansas City are celebrating all week long with some Halloween haunts! Yesterday, we kicked things off with delicious Halloween treats. We had great food available all day long -- from donuts in the morning to muffins, cookies, and other tasty treats in the afternoon! Tomorrow, we're capping off the week with a SOUPer lunch… Read More

We are thrilled to announce today our recent move to a new Austin home for the Codero Team! We’ve been busy moving and breaking in our new space this week, and can safely report the impact of an open floor-plan is a real thing. Bigger and Better! Since our CEO Emil Sayegh joined in 2012 and expanded the company to Austin from the Kansas City hub, Codero has seen explosive growth. With growth comes growing pains. One of the complaints I hear most often from folks in network-related roles is that they feel like they're being crammed into a little box. There's plenty to learn and do in technical roles, but too frequently people are only allowed to work on a very small subset of tasks with limited responsibilities. Recently, I was interviewing a candidate and asked what technology they most wanted to work on. Their response was, "Well, I really want to be able to work on the core routing… Read More

The time around Thanksgiving provides the perfect chance to take a few moments to look back at the past 12 months and say “thank you” for all of the blessings we have received.  As I take time to reflect on the events of my life, both professionally and personally, I am truly grateful to be participating in this wonderful opportunity.  Our lives get busy, and it’s easy to forget that we have a lot to be thankful for. It’s imperative that we make time to… Read More

A company without culture is like a sandwich without bread.  It just isn't possible.  Whether the culture is implied, in the background, or printed on company letterhead, it is ever-present.  Make no mistake. In the beginning, Codero’s culture was not "codified" - it was relaxed and informal, and implied.  We all knew we were a service focused organization that was here 24/7/365 to support our customers IT infrastructures, resolve and anticipate our customer’s technical problems, proactively implement improvements, and ultimately make the customer feel like… Read More

Holy moly! What a week we’ve had! We just finished our very first SXSW experience and we have got to say what a blast we had there! Although it’s over now, you can be sure it won’t be the last time we’re there, now that we have many of Team Codero in Austin. We want to say a special thank you to our customers for coming out and seeing us at our booth, tweeting about us and hanging out at our customer meetup at J… Read More
