This End Could Be For Real … The End of Linux 2.6 releases.

The Linux 2.6 kernel series is on its way to its 40th release in seven years. The creator of the Linux operating system,  Linus Torvalds, said this week that since there has already been so many Linux 2.6 releases, he may end up tagging this next version as the Linux 2.8.0 kernel or Linux 3.0.

Congratulations to Our Neighboring KC KS, Now 100 Times Faster Thanks to Google.

It’s official…Google just announced Kansas City, Kansas will get the first high-speed broadband network in the country. Just a few short miles away from Codero’s headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas, the city beat out more than 1,100 cities across the U.S. to become a test site for the fiber network.

Yesterday’s DoS Attack – Response from CEO

As you may already be aware, yesterday morning Codero was hit by a massive Denial of Service (“DoS”) attack that began at approximately 8:00 a.m. CST and impacted a number of our customers.  This was a deliberate coordinated attack from multiple origination points.
