Codero is a team of passionate hosting nerds—we geek out over the latest hypervisors and believe Linux is an OS of Epoch proportions. Our enthusiasm may not be shared by all, but we also find ways to get our kicks through more "mainstream" mediums. Take this for example, an email our CEO, Emil Sayegh, sent on April 1 at 5:50AM CST:     What made this my favorite of Emil's storied history of April Fool's pranks is his strategic timing—early morning grogginess meant my brain was still catching up with my eyes (which were selectively seeing only… Read More

On behalf of the entire Codero family, we'd like to thank each and every veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, whose sacrifice makes it possible for us to enjoy the freedoms we so cherish. These freedoms are not the norm throughout most of world, and we have our veterans to thank for them. Codero is blessed to have many veterans in our family, and I want to remind them how honored we are to have them as a part of Codero, and we would like… Read More

For the third year in a row, Codero Hosting is honored to participate in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, which helps local families that have fallen on hard times by providing toys and clothing to children in Travis and Williamson counties. This year, the Salvation Army of Austin's goal is to give gifts to more than 6,400 children, and Codero has committed to help the cause! In 2014, Codero sponsored over 35 children in the Austin and Kansas City areas! Our goal this year is to… Read More

With Halloween just one day away, we wanted to cap our week off with a bang -- and I think I can safely say, "Mission accomplished!" (In case you missed out the festivities from earlier in the week, you can take a look back here.) We have a second wave of awesome costumes! First off is Cindy Wisner. She may be forever smiling on our home page, but there's… Read More

It may be the end-of-the-month sales push at the Codero offices, but that doesn't mean there isn't time for a little fun! With Halloween this week, our offices in Austin and Kansas City are celebrating all week long with some Halloween haunts! Yesterday, we kicked things off with delicious Halloween treats. We had great food available all day long -- from donuts in the morning to muffins, cookies, and other tasty treats in the afternoon! Tomorrow, we're capping off the week with a SOUPer lunch… Read More

I am thrilled to announce that BLM Acquisition Corp., a consortium of 32 regional telecom and broadband providers, has acquired Codero. This ushers in a very exciting era for the Codero team, Codero customers, and the new Codero investors. This is a very unique transaction in the hosting space and an instantly transformative acquisition for us and for our customers. Background This deal is not the typical capital investment commonly executed by companies as a means to grow. It is not a larger competitor acquiring… Read More
