Following the January 12 earthquake that wreaked havoc on much of Haiti, an estimated 1.5 million people have been left without a home. At times like this, organizations like the Red Cross are critical in getting aid, shelter and other supplies such as food and water to these survivors.
In an effort to support the American Red Cross relief efforts, the hosting community has come together to encourage our employees, customers and friends in the industry to help make a difference. Simply visit HostingForHaiti.com to learn how your donation can help support the American Red Cross in their relief efforts. Then spread the word – share the link with others and follow the progress on Twitter by following @hostingforhaiti. Be sure to use the hash tag #hostingforhaiti in your posts.
If you’re a Web host and you’d like to join this industry-wide effort, e-mail info@hostingforhaiti.com to be included. Please post a blog and spread the word to your social network.
Not only is it a good cause, but every dollar counts – so please help make a difference!
