Codero Landed in Austin Y’All! Come Along for the Ride.

Austin Post CardCodero has officially opened its doors in the Lone Star state! I’m excited to announce that we’ve added to our current office in Lenexa, Kansas and office/data center in Phoenix, Arizona with a new office in Austin. The area is home to a vibrant technology community and offers a highly skilled pool of employees and prospective customers. It’s an exciting new chapter for Codero and we are looking forward to a bright future here in Texas.

From Austin’s tech-savvy workforce to an awesome quality of life, the city seems to do everything right. Most know it as home to Dell’s headquarters and the main campus of the renowned University of Texas, and of course the capital of Texas.  But Austin is also home to country music legend and all-around lovable renegade Willie Nelson, the late blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan, and blockbuster actors Sandra Bullock and Matthew McConaughey, just to name a few. Austin also hosts the renowned film, music and start-up festival South by Southwest (SXSW) every March and the Austin City Limits Music Festival every October. We chose our particular office location because it is surrounded by many local shops and restaurants plus we are close to Austin’s public transit, which many of our employees take advantage of.

Austin has a reputation as one of the best places in the nation to live and work, and with good reason. It earned the No. 8 spot on a list of America’s 50 Best Cities by Bloomberg BusinessWeek in September 2012. In August, the National Venture Capital Association included Austin in its list of the top 10 cities for technology start-ups as reported by USA Today. Austin also has a large high-tech presence with Dell, Freescale Semiconductor, Deloitte, AMD, IBM, Facebook, Google, Apple, and Microsoft maintaining offices here. Additionally, natural foods powerhouse Whole Foods Market was founded in Austin. Truly it is home to the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit.

I will work from our rapidly growing new Austin digs alongside CEO Emil Sayegh, SVP of Product Development Chandler Vaughn, and Director of Existing Customer Sales Torrey Kiolbassa, and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Many of Codero’s customer support, development, operations, sales and marketing teams will also work from the new office.

A Country-wide Team Working Together!
Now with three offices and three data center locations across the country, Codero continues to demonstrate that the best is yet to come. I’m so proud of our team. I love that everyone has embraced our “work hard, play hard” culture. And best of all, we work together flawlessly across time zones and state lines to serve customers and spread the word about the exceptional service Codero Hosting provides to its customers.
