Codero Cloud Customers Can Upload Personal Templates

Customer response to our new Cloud hosting service has been tremendous and we are continuing to refine it to help boost the performance of your computing. That’s why we just added a new enhancement. Today we are happy to announce that Codero Cloud users can now upload their own templates.  Best of all, it’s easy.

Template Uploading:

  • Just login to the Codero Server Portal at
  • Go to Codero Cloud
  • Click on the Templates Tab
  • Click on Add Templates
  • Complete the information (name of the template, description of the template)
  • Paste in the link for the VHD file to be uploaded
  • Select the OS type
  • And finally, click Create.

Your template will be uploaded shortly. Once uploaded, you will be able to create a new virtual machine using your own template.

Thanks to this new template upload function, users will also have the ability to create templates from snapshots of their virtual machines and apply them across many virtual machines.  This will give you the ability to have several virtual machines all running off of the same template without the need to configure each virtual machine.

The Development and Engineering teams at Codero are continually looking for ways to help our customers perform at their peak. We hope you’ll let us know in the comments section here about your experience with this new function now that deployment of environments just became a lot easier.
