Codero strongly opposes both the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect-IP Act (PIPA) currently under consideration.  We recognize the need to protect intellectual property online; however, reasonable and well-functioning laws protecting these rights (such as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act) are already in place.  It is our opinion, therefore, that SOPA and PIPA are unnecessary and would unreasonably infringe on the rights of United States citizens to freely publish and access information over the internet.

To access the new features, log into the Cloud Portal through Codero Server Portal. Then, just click on Create a new VM, and select cPanel or Plesk from the drop down on Step 1.  Continue with the setup process and your new vm will be ready shortly.

The latest enhancement is to our convenient Server Portal. We’ve updated the Codero online portal once again … this time to spruce up the dashboard.  The dashboard will now display more information regarding Codero customer services. For example, customers with dedicated servers can now view:

-          The most recent time the server was rebooted
-          Your bandwidth usage
-          The processor for your dedicated server
-          An overview of the IP Addresses displayed under the Service description     
-          Invoices and Orders now merged together in one box
-          A New Message function available at time of login. A box is displayed which      allows you to click and view the message. Mandatory messages will still bring up a pop-up box.

To display these features while you are in Server Portal, simply click on the informational icon to the right of your dedicated server.  Here you will also see the latest Twitter updates from @Codero and @CoderoNOC which can also help you keep abreast of news about any upcoming network maintenance or system incidents.

First, Codero now has SMS Service Notifications. You can stay up-to-date with the latest service notifications via text messaging from Codero by signing up with our new SMS service.  The sign-up process is simple and can be accomplished easily from your profile page. Just click the Add button under the Codero Service Notification System section, enter your name, select a subscription type and enter your information. When complete, click Subscribe.  You will receive a bounceback message confirming your subscription.  We recommend signing up multiple users so everyone within your organization can stay even more current on Codero hosting news.

Payment method management has been revamped in Server Portal. We have streamlined the managing of your payment options to add functionality and simplify the process.  We’ve added the ability for you to edit existing methods, and delete outdated payment information that may no longer be valid.
